They also have a new program available, The TLC (Together Learning to Cope) program; designed to provide support to children living with the life threatening illness of a family member. Bi-weekly support groups are offered for children and their parents or guardians, and workshops are offered periodically for parents seeking information about helping their children understand and cope with the illness in the family. Chapter members stitched plaques to place on the doors of the rooms in the facility keeping with the same bright colorful scheme seen throughout the facility.
